Since 1985, the YogaWell Institute team has been involved in providing a personalized approach to healthcare maintenance.
With a real passion for yoga research, we have presented multiple case studies and research projects regarding the influence
of yoga as a therapy. Our individualized approach to wellness, practiced by Sri Krishnamacharya, views our whole being as one interconnected system.

We have used this method of treatment to help physical, mental & spiritual suffering. We teach you to view your entire system as one; so your brain, emotions & spirit are aligned to produce great calm in your life, regardless of the obstacles troubling you.

Two of the most powerful tools you have to influence your system are attentive movement & conscious breathing.
Their ability to influence our system; how we feel, think and behave, is immense. Together they form a language that allows us to communicate & be in relationship with our bodies, minds & emotions.

Just like any language, effective communication means we have not only a sense of what to say but also how and when to say it.
Once we understand how to use these tools, it becomes possible to form profound partnerships with our bodies, minds and emotions and to cultivate deep healing and balance.

With our Yoga Therapist program, you will:

  • Understand yoga’s holistic approach to the human system: Recognizing that a person’s body, breath, mind, behavior
    and emotions are distinct dimensions deeply interconnected and influencing each other.
  • Discover how to create individual treatment protocols: utilizing a wide array of tools and techniques
    (asana, pranayama, meditation, sound, ritual, mudra, mantra, study of text, diet & lifestyle modifications)
  • Become able to address each person’s unique needs: continually adapting the therapeutic practice to meet each clients’
    needs as they change over time.

This knowledge allows you to address one specific dimension of the human system, while influencing the entire system as a whole.

How the Yoga Well Yoga Therapist Program works:

  • 15 5-day Retreats
  • 130 Hours Practicum
  • 65 Online Classes (2 hours each)
  • 140 Guided Meditation Sessions
  • 20 Sessions of Meditation Course Planning
  • 40 Hours Personalized Focus & Instruction

Pre-Requisites

Yoga Well yoga therapist training requires all applicants to have at least

  • 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
  • One year of yoga teaching experience and
  • One year of regular yoga practice. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

TUITION & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

The Yoga Yoga Therapist Training tuition is $12,100 due to be paid in installments as listed below
