Coleen has been studying yoga since 1995, and teaching since 1999. She is certified in Atma (Christopher Baxter) and pre-natal yoga (Janice Clairfield). In 2003 she became a Reiki Master .In 2008 she completed a 2 year Shamanic training in the Inka Mystery teachings.
Her classes are gentle and meditative, designed to develop intuition and connect people to their bodies wisdom. Earth-based and soul-centered, her classes draw upon her continued study of yoga, healing and energy medicine.

Anyone can do yoga. You cultivate steadiness & comfort in the pose, allow rather than force… work with the body of the day. Yoga is about the balance of body, mind, spirit, and emotions. Yoga makes us better humans!!
Her teaching philosophy:
I love how yoga is a path of harmony… with the ultimate goal being remember who you are -at your essence. So I teach Earth-based, soul-centered classes designed to connect students to their Bodies Intelligence, intuition and wisdom of the heart. My ultimate intention is to shift consciousness and teach love. Self love has been a key component in my practice/classes lately…because I know that one person in the vibration of love impacts thousands.
What keeps her grounded:
- Chanting ‘lam’ 108 times every morning
- Connecting to the Natural World
- Practicing outside whenever possible
- Meditating with rocks
