Jamie discovered her passion for yoga in her late 40’s. After practicing yoga for several years she began her teacher training and has earned her 500hr RYT and has taught over 1,000 hours of classes in Austin and Dallas, Texas and southern Maine. She teaches vinyasa flow style designed to overcome the mystery of yoga by delivering a practical, user-friendly format, which is accessible, understandable and doable by individuals at any level of fitness.
Before shifting her focus to yoga, Jamie was a city land use planner for 20 years in Maine, Arizona and Florida, and an air traffic controller in the U.S. Air Force. While she has made the transition to a calmer lifestyle, she can still empathize with those who have stressful jobs, long commutes, and have spent countless hours sitting at desks, in meetings or in front of computers. She has dedicated her life to yoga and has found it to be incredible beneficial for undoing the negative impact of everyday life by helping to relieve stress and restore balance in the mind and body.
