Rev. Monique Maxwell, a Master Yoga Instructor for 22 years received her formal training from California’s nationally recognized Yoga Works. Her continuing education led her to India, to Europe, and to Maui to complete her studies as a healer in the Yogic traditions, the Hawaiian and Native American traditions.
She has led numerous workshops and Teacher Training courses, in all traditions, for the beginning, intermediate, and advanced student. After completely her recent studies in Maui she now spends her time training clients privately, training teachers, and leading classes back home in Minneapolis.
With a strong background in Iyengar, Hatha, and Ashtanga Yoga, and the healing arts,
Monique has inspired many with physical limitations, while encouraging all her students to strengthen and protect their bodies. She is famous for dedication to her students and her intuitive attention to alignment and detail, her commitment to the practice.
