Emily has been practicing massage and bodywork for the last 15 years and has worked in a variety of settings including hotels, spas, chiropractic offices, and massage studios. She has studied a variety of massage and bodywork modalities over the years and aims to incorporate her experience and intuition into her customized massage sessions.
Emily holds degrees in both Eastern and Western Psychology and has trained and worked as a mental health counselor. She finished a 235-hour yoga teacher-training program in April and is currently enrolled in an advanced yoga teacher-training program. She hopes to incorporate her training in bodywork and massage, yoga, and psychology to help her clients achieve balance and healing.
Dr. Rachel Allyn is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and certified Yoga Instructor. She received her Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco in 2005. After a decade of being an avid yogi, Dr. Allyn underwent formal yoga-teacher training with Dana Baptiste in Salt Lake City, specializing in Vinyasa. She has worked as a psychologist in diverse settings ranging from a level-one trauma center at Hennepin County Medical Center to residential treatment facilities, middle schools, and research labs.
Dr. Allyn’s teaching experience is also multi-faceted, including ski instruction in Lake Tahoe, yoga for recovery, and psychology professor for Westminster College in Utah.

Sheli is a licensed skincare therapist specializing in organic, chemical-free, and herbal skincare. With a unique focus on prenatal and postnatal skincare, she has created wonderful treatments that help ease changes in a woman’s skin during and after her pregnancy. Philip has been studying and practicing massage and bodywork for the last ten years. His journey began at Red Rocks Community College in Golden, CO. He spent two years studying Reiki, Healing Touch, Reflexology and Aromatherapy through a Holistic Nursing program. From there Philip moved to Santa Fe, NM where he enrolled in a 1,000 hour dual-certification program at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts for Massage and Polarity Therapy.
This program also involved extensive training in cranialsacral therapy and many forms of therapeutic massage. Philip’s goal is to understand the client’s needs and use an integrative approach to support their path to wellness.

Jennifer is licensed both by the state of MN and nationally to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She received her Master’s in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture in Boston.
Jennifer is a professional member of the national infertility organization, RESOLVE, and she has had advanced training and specialized education in treating infertility and gynecological problems with Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Laura just returned to the YCM from the Island of Dominica where she managed the spa, trained staff in spa treatments, taught yoga, and ran the wellness program. As a master of her craft she enjoys the more subtle approach of craniosacral therapy and energy work to assist the body’s natural healing and expand the awareness of energy and flow within the body.
She also gives the best facial in town using June Jacobs’ skin care products, along with other natural ingredients, like coconut oil, aloe, green tea, etc. Her massage is a combination of relaxation techniques combined with deep tissue, pressure points, and trigger point therapy to bring you to a state of bliss.

Michelle Pietrzak-Wegner is an E-RYT 500 Certified and Registered Yoga Instructor and a Certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. A faculty member of the Yoga Center Minneapolis, Michelle teaches individuals and groups studying to teach yoga in both the 200-hour and 500-hour advanced training programs. Her curriculum provides instruction in therapeutic yoga, yoga for special populations, yoga therapy, yoga anatomy, yin yoga, Taoist yoga, and yoga philosophy.
Michelle was trained and certified in the 250-hour Atmananda Yoga Sequence in New York City.
Furthering her yoga training with the style of Yin Yoga, she studied directly with the grandfather of Yin Yoga, Paulie Zink. Subsequently, she continued her Yin training with Master Paul Grilley focusing on Yin and Anatomy. Her training in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy required over 750 hours of study and four residentials in Bristol, Vermont at the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Center. Trained in both Taoist philosophy and thought along with traditional Yoga philosophy Michelle provides a unique class setting that allows students to seek their truth through many avenues.
Kate has been practicing bodywork for 14 years, finding her passion when she started her education at SouthWest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona. She focused her studies on deep tissue/therapeutic massage, reflexology, and prenatal massage. At SWIHA she developed a strong intuition for the human body and a belief that you must take a holistic and integrated approach to maintain good health.
Kate shared her experience and love of massage with other technicians as an educator and trainer for Four Seasons Resorts and LifeTime Fitness- LifeSpas. She loves to develop strong relationships with her clients and help to increase the benefits of their massage through education and home care. Kate uses her years of experience and a variety of modalities to create a customized massage that is unique and therapeutic for each client.
Kristin is a master massage therapist specializing in therapeutic massage, movement reeducation, prenatal massage, and energy work. Kristin incorporates a unique blend of holistic healing techniques with massage, which helps her clients to achieve inner balance and radiant health.
A variety of experiential opportunities have influenced Kristin’s technique including her work with inpatients at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, where she massaged patients in the Minneapolis Heart Institute, the Neuroscience Institute, the Orthopedic Institute, Sister Kenny, the Spine Institute, WomenCare, and the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute.
Kristin also was an educator at Morning Star, the first freestanding birth facility in the state. Kristin originally studied massage at Northwestern Health Sciences University and has attended workshops at Esalen Institute and other leading healing centers. Presently Kristin is attending classes at the Center for Spirituality and Healing at the University of Minnesota.
